Initially this will be a contracted position with a monthly stipend until we open our space (rough timeline 3 months) after which your hard work and dedication could be rewarded with a salaried position that includes benefits and equity!

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating and implementing strategies to increase membership leads and community growth

• Building partnerships with local businesses in the eSports ecosystem and beyond - including hardware, educational, event, and food/beverage partners/sponsors

• Planning and preparing outreach material such as decks and presentations

WHO YOU ARE:

We’re looking for a creative self starter who’s excited to take on a leadership role in the rapidly growing eSports industry. You should be able to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and be comfortable handling uncertainty. You have an eye for spotting new opportunities and creating relationships that last.

Qualifications:

• Prior management / development experience

• Experience creating social media and brand strategy

• Successful track record of building partnerships

• Experience in the start up industry is a plus

• Knowledge of eSports & gaming

• Excellent organization and communication skills

• Strong people skills: we need someone who is invested in making everyone feel included, welcomed and respected in our space.

Monthly stipend: $1,500 until opening

Location: Ideally you’ll work in our downtown Vancouver office 4-5 days a week, but we're flexible with our schedule and there’s the potential to figure out some remote work as well.

Timeline: This position will last for at least 3 months
