The annual Orange Shirt Day on September 30 opens the door to global conversation on all aspects of residential schools. This day has been declared in recognition of the harm the residential school system did to children's sense of self-esteem and wellbeing, and as an affirmation of our commitment to ensure that everyone around us matters.
We'd love to see more involvement from the creative tech sector this year! Ways to get involved and create awareness include posting about the event on your social media channels, making your social icons orange, or posting pics of you and your staff wearing an orange t-shirt.
