Casting Call: HR Tech Group & True Calling Media's Video Series Campaign

HR Tech Group has partnered with True Calling Media to produce a series of video vignettes about people who have found what they love to do for their Everyone Belongs in Tech campaign. Their goal with the series is to highlight a broad range of individuals thriving in the tech sector with a focus on diversity of gender, Indigenous peoples, LGBTQIAS+, people of colour, new immigrants, and people with disabilities.

For the final episode, they are looking for someone who works in video games, interactive or digital entertainment in BC and is living with a disability and/or intersectionality. Does this sound like you? Are you interested in being a role model for youth and those who are considering a transition to a career in tech? Are you willing to share your compelling story in a short documentary? If so, please send an email with a couple of paragraphs about yourself and your story, including where you work and provide any relevant links to social feeds or other media features. Please share any challenges and obstacles that you have had to overcome to get to where you are today.

If selected, the time commitment would be as follows:

• 1 or 2 calls to discuss ideas and logistics for filming
• 1 day or a couple half days (approx. 8hrs total) of filming with you at your workplace, home, and out in the community
